Who are you?

You are experienced and pragmatic person with a master's degree in the telecoms sector(preferably with a specialization in Telecom or IT).Skills in business analysis, telecommunications, software architectures and in-depth knowledge of GSM-R/2G,4G,5G networks. network infrastructures You have managerial skills, confirmed by a minimum of 15 years, with 5 years in project management experience in the telecommunications environment relating to complex projects, or in a similar position, and demonstrating experience in customer relationship management.(Desirable) Experience in the railway industry.

What we can accomplish together:

We are offering you the opportunity to join  “Service Delivery Management team”  working in  Kontron Transportation Portugal , interacting with national and international players, as a Project Manager. Within this team, you will be responsible for monitoring the operational execution of the projects assigned to you by coordinating the company's resources necessary to meet contractual commitments (scope, quality, deadlines) while respecting costs and customer satisfaction. 

In this role, you will have to:

You are the company representative and the primary point of contact for our client for medium-complexity projects (level 0 to 2 according to our internal process) for which you are responsible.
You ensure that your projects are carried out properly in accordance with company processes and applicable standards. 
You will maximise turnover, profitability and cash collection on these projects.
You will supervise and coordinate the various internal expertise required to carry out the project (Purchasing, Supply, Engineering, Service Delivery, etc.) and the companies (partners, subcontractors) involved in your projects.
Provide regular progress reports on your projects, the risks involved, and the workarounds implemented, and escalate any situation requiring the attention of your line managers.
Intervene in the event of operational conflicts or crises, coordinating escalation procedures with the Sales team; Prepare documentation to support a claim or pre-litigation in consultation with the legal team.
Ensure the administrative and financial follow-up of your projects, from start to finish, in accordance with our contractual obligations. Maintain and update operational evidence documents and ensure that they are archived in accordance with company procedures.
Be a source of proposals for improvement across all operational processes concerning their impact on contract execution and participate in feedback activities on execution.

This position requires regular travel in the country and sometimes abroad.
